Liliput was born at our friends cattery, the off~spring of a male that we co-owned. She was very slow to develop and had to be syringe fed. We really didn't know why she wasn't growing. She was active and playful and ran around with the other kittens but was 1/2 their size! At 4 months of age she was still only 13 oz. and had no teeth, so we continued to syringe feed her. We did a lot of research and the only thing we could find that was close to her symptoms was "Hypothyroid Dwarfism". Hypothyroidism in adult cats is both congenital and extremely rare, it's even more rare in kittens. The problem and challenge was, we really couldn't do any blood-work until she was big enough for us to get a blood sample. At 6 months of age, she finally cracked 1.5lbs and was big enough to do some testing. The results were what we had suspected, she has Hypothyroid Dwarfism. Finally with a diagnosis, we were able to start her on medication and today, at 1 year old, she is a whopping 6 lbs and hooray, she has teeth! Liliput is now our official mascot and allergy tester!
Another perfect litter! We are happy to present Matilda and Raisins first goofy litter, with 3 beds they chose to pile into one! These are wonderful kittens with great personalities!
All have been reserved.
Tilly & Raisins next litter is planned for September - October 2023.
Siberians are known for their dog-like traits and Zuri is a perfect example!
Zuri is a kitten from Odri and Julius's 2020 litter! He is a beautiful Red Sepia, a rare color in the Siberian breed. And his coat is magnificently maintained by his owners!
